Assassin's Creed Odyssey has leaked via a keyring

UPDATE 1.00AM: Ubisoft has confirmed Assassin’s Creed Odyssey via a brief teaser clip posted on Twitter, and said it will show more of the game at E3.

The confirmation comes just hours after the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey keyring image below leaked online.

The video tease appears to confirm its Ancient Greece setting, and the game’s logo also includes the Spartan helmet from the keyring on it.

Best of all? You can do that big kick from 300 and boot your enemy off the top of a mountain. Roll on E3.

ORIGINAL STORY 5PM: Last year, a promotional T-shirt revealed the main character, logo and Ancient Egyptian setting of Assassin’s Creed Origins, weeks before its official unveiling at E3.

This year, a keyring appears to have done the same thing to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – seemingly the next game in Ubisoft’s long-running historical franchise – and which looks like to be set in Ancient Greece.

The piece of merchandise can be seen in this photo posted by French site Jeuxvideo, which noted the Ancient Greek helmet left little doubt as to the game’s setting.
