Razer Kishi review: "Makes mobile gaming much, much better"

The Razer Kishi for Android was designed to fix mobile gaming’s biggest problem: awkward controls. Although being able to play on your cell phone is great in theory, there’s always been a limit to what you can achieve when you only have your thumbs and a touch screen to rely on. First-person shooters are a casualty of this issue, notoriously so. It’s just not natural or comfortable to play them on mobile devices.

The Razer Kishi aims to provide an elegant solution. Rather than forcing you to carry around a separate gamepad like the SteelSeries Stratus Duo, it provides a clip-on controller not unlike the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. This approach is a step above Razer’s last effort (the Razer Junglecat), and it makes sense; having a case that only fits certain phones is inevitably going to cause issues.
